Is my data stored? Only the files it generates for you to download, for 1 hour; then they are deleted automatically. Nothing else is stored. See the privacy policy.

What can it not do?

Scanned PDFs and images are not read; paste the text or upload a .docx or a text PDF
Compares the main text only: headers, footers, footnotes, comments and automatic list numbers in Word files are not compared
Formatting changes (bold, font, layout) are not reported; only the words
Up to about 600,000 characters (about 200 pages) per document
Scripts without a bundled font (for example Georgian and Armenian) print as ? in the PDF; the Excel and Word files keep them
Not legal advice; a person should review the redline
